About Me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with teens ages 16+, adults, and couples. Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years supporting children, teens, and families as a school counselor, which gave me a strong foundation in helping people navigate trauma, emotional development, and relationships.

I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, communication, life transitions, emotion regulation, parenting, and relationship challenges. As a mom of two, I am also passionate about helping other moms understand how their own past experiences influence their parenting and relationships. I enjoy supporting moms as they navigate the emotional and mental challenges of motherhood, identity transitions, and evolving family dynamics, while fostering greater self-awareness, deeper connection, and lasting confidence along the way. Motherhood is a deeply emotional journey and moms deserve support at every phase.

What is my Approach to Therapy?

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, direct, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. While my primary clinical background is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. I collaborate with each client to develop a treatment approach that reflects their experiences and strengths, thoughtfully integrating techniques from other evidence-based modalities—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work—when appropriate.

I believe a strong foundation of trust and connection is essential for meaningful therapeutic growth. I focus on building rapport so that you feel safe being yourself, while also helping you develop practical tools to better understand and navigate your thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

What Can you Expect in Your First Session?

In our first session, my main focus is getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, any important background information, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. The first session is also a chance for us to start building connection, identify goals, and explore what kind of support would feel most helpful for you moving forward.

I love watching sports games, trying new coffee shops, traveling, and listening to music.
